Today was a day in which three photographic opportunities serendipitously presented themselves.
A pier walk in Dun Laoghaire.
The jellyfish and the Black Guillemot were relatively close on our morning pier walk, certainly within 20 metres. The Muglins lighthouse was four kilometres from us and the cargo ship further again. And the Sugar Loaf mountain is 16 km from the marina.
Sitting among potted plants.
Flies and a wood louse were in the planter beside my chair. The nasturtium stood proud in a basket hung about five metres from the lens.
Paragliders in Killiney
An easterly evening breeze tempted about a dozen paragliders to the hill. They too were in hanging baskets seeking up-draughts in the falling evening breeze.
